Fabric Wall Cross

I have seen this idea circulating on Pinterest and decided to give it a try.  I really love it, I made a few extra for gifts as well.

I cut the boards.  It was my first time using the table saw.  Not a scary as I thought. 

Then I stained them.  After that my hubby did pocket holes on the back with the router. 

Then I stapled the fabric in place.

I used thick thread to tighten and tie a knot.  I needed help with this to keep it tight. 

That’s it.  It took about 1 hour start to finish.  I made 3.

Teapot Christmas Tree

I found this cute little teapot and knew I wanted to do something with it.  I found this mini tree for 50% off at Hobby Lobby and the little decorations too. Super simple but a fun take on a mini tree!

Thrift Store Nativity Redo

 I have been wanting a nativity!  I didn’t want a super colorful one or a big one.  That wasn’t so easy to find, so I decided to make my own.

I found this nativity set at the Thrift Store for under $5.00 yay!  I used chalk paint and distressed it. I used grout with with off white paint to make my own chalk paint.

I love the way it turned out!
